The WineTip cellar: a selection of fine wines

As of 2000, the year of its founding, WineTip has built with perseverance and utmost dedication a cellar full of more than 5,000 labels, for about 150,000 bottles, including all the most popular wines on the market up to those considered “unobtainable.”

The continuous search for the best wines, visits to producers in Italy and abroad, the countless organized tastings, knowledge of the market, have allowed our experts to develop a very in-depth knowledge of the world wine scene.

The extreme attention to customers, which has grown over time in parallel with our reputation for seriousness and professionalism, today allows us to have customers in 40 countries and to serve haute cuisine throughout Italy.

Our list includes wines from all over the world, boasts a great depth of vintages and specializes above all on the best wines of Piedmont, Tuscany, Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne.

SOURCING

PURCHASE CHANNELS

Most of the wines in the catalog are purchased directly from the producers and their distributors/importers.

The older vintages, on the other hand, come mainly from collectors’ cellars or restaurants. In fact, thanks to our contacts and our experience, we are often able to purchase important exclusive collections.

The risks associated with conservation are minimized thanks to visits and control of the conditions of the cellar of origin, careful examination of the bottles, sample tasting of some wines and verification of the seller’s reputation and proof of purchase, where existing.

We often refuse to buy important wines when in doubt about one of these aspects.

STORAGE

OUR WAREHOUSES

The wines are stored in 2 warehouses both at controlled temperature and humidity. An external warehouse is near Milan where we store whole cases of younger vintages.

Our headquarters in via Morbelli, 7 is instead the cellar where we keep the finest wines, the old vintages and a minimum stock of almost all references.

Our cellar can be visited by appointment.

    SALES TERMS

    MINIMUM ORDER:

    • No limit for purchases with collection at our offices
    • 200€ for purchases in Italy with shipping required
    • 500€ for international individuals
    • 5000€ for international Merchants

    *Shipments are made to private homes only if equipped with a concierge or with certain presence at home during office hours.

    **It may happen that a wine on the list has just been sold or is optioned by another customer. In that case we will proceed with the partial fulfillment of the order.

    ***The older bottles are sold with the “seen and liked” clause. In some cases, they can be purchased only by pickup in person at our premises.
    Wines can be picked up at our premises or shipped throughout Europe and to many countries outside Europe.

    ATTENTIONconsidering the countless requests we receive for some producers with very low available quantities, we have to apply limitations on the quantities sold per customer.

    The prices in the list are excluding VAT and ex our warehouse.
